Creative Expressions Programme
The Creative Expressions Programme is for anyone who is interested in working in aesthetic fields, such as art, music, dance and theatre. You can also work in other professional fields where you can use your aesthetic skills.

The programme is suitable for individuals who want to create and experience art and culture. You can use this knowledge in your work, for example at a preschool, in various after-school educare activities, in retail or in elderly care. They can also serve as a foundation for continued studies in artistic disciplines.
What you will learn in the programme
You will be given the opportunity to practice aesthetic craftsmanship and learn different ways of expressing yourself.
You will work with creating, experiencing and interpreting art and culture. The programme will give you the opportunity to develop your imagination, curiosity and creativity.
You will develop your own creativity and practise presenting it.
The programme will give you knowledge and experience of different tools, materials and methods when creating.
The programme will develop your ability to collaborate and interact with people in different situations.
You will study theoretical subjects, such as Swedish, mathematics and English. You also learn through practical exercises.
You will practice and use the knowledge you gain on the programme in a workplace. This is called work-based learning (arbetsplatsförlagt lärande, APL).
Programme objectives
The programme objectives describe what you should be able to do once you have received an upper secondary school certificate after a certain national programme in the upper secondary school for pupils with intellectual disabilities.
