The Swedish education system consists of a variety of school types and programmes, from preschool to various adult education programmes.

For children aged 0–5

For pupils aged 6–16

• Compulsory special needs school

Before and after the school day, pupils can attend school-age educare.

• Municipal adult education (Komvux):

• Training programmes offered through the Swedish Public Employment Service
