THIS IS A HIGHER EDUCATION PREPARATORY PROGRAMME
Natural Science Programme
Engelska (ENG)
Are you interested in biology, physics, chemistry and mathematics and want to understand how everything is connected? This is the programme for anyone interested in the natural science subjects and questions.
Video: This video provides a brief description of the Natural Science Programme (time: 4:20 min)
What you will learn in the Natural Science Programme
You will develop your knowledge of interconnections in natures, the conditions of life, physical phenomena, chemical relationships and mathematics. You will study the ideas and theories of natural science, both as part of history and current research.
The programme develops a scientific approach where you learn to think critically, reason logically, solve problems and conduct systematic investigations. You will evaluate different sources and distinguish between claims that are based on scientific and non-scientific grounds. You will work hands-on with experiments, labs and field studies.
You will stimulate your curiosity, creativity and analytical thinking skills and get used to using modern technology and equipment.
The labs have been the most fun part of the programme. Whether we get to use new tools or new chemicals, it's always fun to see what we've learned about happen right before our eyes.
