Individual Programme
The Individual Programme is for anyone who is unable to take a national programme in upper secondary school for pupils with intellectual disabilities due to a disability.

The Individual Programme shall be designed in such a way that it suits you in particular. The programme is intended to give you knowledge and skills you can use to live as independent and active a life as possible. It will also give you the knowledge and skills that enable you to have a say in how you live your everyday life and be able to participate in society. You may also do a placement at a workplace.
What you will learn in the programme
You will work on developing your language and how to communicate with others, and you will learn mathematics that you need in your everyday life.
You will also learn about nature and society.
In the programme, you will reflect on and have discussions with others about issues that affect your life.
You will also be given the opportunity to better understand and use the English you hear and see around you, for example in music, films, games and magazines.
You will learn how to communicate what you think and feel to others, for example through dance, art, music and theatre.
You will gain knowledge and skills that enable you to manage your home, your personal finances and your health.
